The jaws of MORSPEED^TM 1500 forklift attachments are contoured to securely grasp various rimmed drums.
Precision gripping mechanism is built to last. MORSPEED^TM 1500forklift drum movers handle virtually any rimmed drum, regardless of diameter. These forklift drum grabbers require that the drum lid be in place on your drum.
Move drums with damaged sides or straight walls. Works with or without pallets.

MORSPEED^TM 1500 model 288-1 handles a single drum with one set of jaws to grip the drum top rim

Features:
Morse Forklift-Karriers convert your forklift into a safety-conscious drum handler to lift, move and pour a drum. Dispense a drum right from your forklift. You control drum tilting with a 20’ (6 m) long pull chain loop with 10’ (3 m) drop. Turn drum 360o in either direction.

Quickly mounts onto forks with no tools or modifications. Requires 25″ (63.5 cm) between the forks. Each fork pocket opening is 2.5″ (6.35 cm) high by 6.5″ (16.5 cm) wide.

We recommend the MORStop Tilt-Brake option to automatically hold the drum tilt angle until you move it. This prevents a partially full, unbalanced drum from turning out of control, even when the contents shift from one end to the other.

Can also be ordered with Hand Crank or Hand Wheel option for use only within reach.

The MORSPEED 1000™ forklift attachment allows you to grab, lift, move and place a drum in minimum time without leaving your fork truck. Raise and lower the forks to grab and release the drum.

The steel jaws are contoured to securely grasp the drum’s upper rim. They are completely mechanical and automatic. They grip on the way up by engaging the lower jaw under the drum rim, and continuing to lift. They release when weight is taken off the jaws by setting the drum on the floor, pallet, etc. The forklift operator just raises and lowers the forks, and drives forward and back as necessary.

MORSPEED 1000™ drum handlers work with straight walled drums or even deformed ribs, since they do not depend on the drum ribs or friction. They do not require any modification to your truck.
